A Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition campaign setting.
Well, the game is still going on, but has taken a turn. Monte Cooke has released a 5e version of Ptolus, one of my all-time favorite settings. So I’ve moved the group to Ptolus and am starting to get it (and them) up to speed.
SummerHome – that great city high in the mountains where the wealthy and nobles come during the summer to escape the scorching heat and extreme humidity of the lower lands.
It is considered neutral ground for those kingdoms who make use of it, and as such has also become a significant diplomatic center.
The city has both permanent residents and the summer temporaries. In addition it is a hub for summer adventuring, often drawing many parties from all around.
The city itself is quite civilized and relatively quiet. The mountains around it however…
